A land of the free,
and improbable goal
We humans are greedy,
right to the soul.
We seek to gain,
to own, and oppress.
We seek to lavish,
and to ourselves, bless.
Wounds are opened,
by ourselves, to our brothers.
We feel no remorse,
When actions harm another.
A generation or robots,
free from emotion.
A society of apostates,
free from devotion.
An increase of hate,
underestimation of sin.
Great groups of girls,
breaking thier skin.
Children without fathers,
with fear to commit.
Children with knives,
as sharp as their wit.
In truth, I tell you,
there is a better way.
I'll share my Light,
if I may.
Im Christ, may you see,
that freedom abounds.
Grace love, peace,
and great friends surround.
In Christ, in His Truth,
your soul you can save.
In Christ, is the land of the free,
and the home of the brave.
There's my newest work. I wrote it english class, when I probably should have been doing other work. I hope you like it. PLEASE COMMENT.

Sweet lyric.
Cool poem. Summed up some of my thoughts of late.
God bless

2.5 thumbs up!
I agree with Greg. In the middle of reading the poem, I had to read that stanza again just because it was so perfectly written.
The whole shebang was awesome. I love your writing, we've already talked about that. Great flow, too.
Keep it up. :)
Downright amazing, if not WAY PAST AMAZING. I want more.
